Up and Running Again ½ Marathon Class

Spring 2014

1. Dates/Times – We will be running four days a week.

a. Monday – 6 am

b. Tuesday – 6 am

c. Thursday – 6 am

d. Saturday – 6:30 am

2. Training Workouts

Feb 17                         50 minutes @ 20 min running/5 min walking and repeat

Feb 24                         50 minutes @ 20 min running/5 min walking and repeat

Mar 3                           30 minutes of running

3. We will be running the Orange County ½ marathon on May 4, 2013.

 

4. Requirements

a. Runners must sign liability and picture waiver

b. Runners must complete application and emergency contact information

 

5. Program includes

a. 14 weeks of marathon training

b. Free running shoes after the completion of 6 weeks of training (Sat. Mar 15)

and completing the minimum attendance and curriculum assignments.

c. Entry into a local half marathon race

d. Carb Load Awards banquet –Saturday May 3rd at 5pm
